Christmas Trees — decorated and undecorated Christmas trees and wreaths.
Creative Activities — needlework, garment making, handcrafts, collections and taxidermy, baked products, canned and preserved foods.
Education — work of students grades K-12; including but not limited to items such as drawings, paintings, handcrafts, writing projects, photography, welding, woodworking and drafting
Farm Crops — crop art and scarecrows.
Flowers — Minnesota State Fair Flower Show only. Interpretive creative designs and horticulture specimens for amateurs, juniors, advanced amateurs and open class.
Fruit and Wine — fruit specimens such as apples, plums, pears and grapes; wines such as red, white, rose and berry. Canned fruit should be entered under Creative Activities.
Honey & Bee Culture — honey; cooking and baking with honey; beeswax products; artwork and crafts with bee or honey theme.
Vegetable and Potato — standard vegetable and potato specimens such as beans, squash, tomatoes, peppers as well as "giant" and decorative vegetable contests. Canned vegetables should be entered under Creative Activities.
